Proteus Creation Space is both a community arts centre, hosting classes, workshops, art exhibitions, performances and events, and the home of national touring theatre company, Proteus; who devise and make dynamic, physical theatre work, always inviting local audiences into the process to see ‘work in progress’ before the shows tour nationally, making this work truly ‘Made in Basingstoke’.

Throughout the year, Proteus offers a hugely diverse programme of events; from sharings of new work, to performances from established theatre companies and artists, children’s theatre and storytelling, art exhibitions, youth and adult community theatre groups, cabaret, and burlesque nights and much more.
