Hotels and conference venues
Beechdown, a health and fitness club located between the M3 at Junction 7 and Basingstoke town centre, offers high quality, well-equipped accommodation for corporate events of all types. It has three suites that can be adapted to suit the layout you need for your meeting and include air-conditioning, built-in projectors and screens and catering facilities. It has ample parking for those that are travelling by car.
The Hampshire Court Hotel has 12 state-of-the-art meeting suites, breakout areas, plus a vast arena for up to 1,500 delegates which is perfect for conferences, full-scale exhibitions to gala dinners. If any of your guests need a place to stay they have 90 bedrooms, plus amenities including a health club and two restaurants and plenty of free parking.
The Britannia Basingstoke Country Hotel has 10 conference suites in total, ranging in size to accommodate between 30 and 240 people. The hotel and conference suites are located just five minutes from the M3 at Junction 5. They are also easily reached from Junction 6 and the town centre. It has car parking for 220 cars and 100 bedrooms if you require facilities for people to stay overnight. All facilities offer air conditioning and disabled access.
The Apollo Hotel has 15 meeting rooms which can accommodate small events and larger events of up to 255 delegates. It has plenty of free parking and facilities to help delegates relax after the meeting including a bar, gym and spa. They offer fixed rate conference packages for 24-hour residential and eight-hour day delegate conferences.
Oakley Hall Hotel has spaces suitable for corporate events for 13 and 400 delegates. Larger meetings are accomodated in the Garden Pavillion whilst smaller groups may like the Library which features a beautiful Georgian fireplace.
The Ark Conference Centre is located by Basingstoke Hospital. It offers a variety of flexible room spaces to accommodate training events, meetings or conferences from two to 240 delegates. It has a lecture theatre and seven additional rooms with varying capacities along with a pavilion which is ideal for lunches, dinners and product launches.
Village Hotel Basingstoke is a modern hotel located on Basing View, in the town centre, with great transport links from both the railway station and M3 motorway. It has meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 60 people, bookable by the hour, half day or full day. Facilities include an onsite pub and grill, Starbucks Coffee, V Works co-working space and extensive leisure facilities in the Health and Wellness Club for when you and your colleagues need to power off. Day delegate rates are available that can include accommodation.
Golf clubs
Sandford Springs is located in Kingsclere making it a good place to meet if you are based in either Basingstoke or Newbury. You can choose from six meeting rooms, ranging in capacity from 10 to 200 guests. All meeting rooms have natural daylight and complimentary Wi-Fi as standard. The Sandford Lounge is their second largest function room and is based on the ground floor of the clubhouse giving fantastic views over the lakes course. It has direct access to an outdoor terrace meaning you can add a drinks reception or barbecue to your function. It offers day delegate rates as well as overnight packages with accommodation in its hotel.
The Weybrook Suite at Weybrook Park Golf Club is a conference room on the first floor of the clubhouse. It can accommodate up to 100 people theatre style. Sherfield Oaks in Sherfield-on-Loddon has a room with capacity to hold up to 50 delegates.
Offices with meeting rooms
A number of serviced offices in Basingstoke and Deane also have meeting room or conference facilities that you can hire even if you don't rent office space.
Grove House run by Absolutely Offices has meeting rooms and conference facilities for up to 50 people. It's conference room has a ceiling mounted AV projector, interactive board wireless internet connection and complimentary tea and coffee. The meeting rooms are ideal for interviews or larger meetings accommodating 2 - 20 people and we also have ample free parking and an onsite Bistro for refreshments.
BizSpace on Basing View has three meeting rooms to hire, ideal for small teams from eight to 20 people that can be hired by the hour, half-day, or full-day. All rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi, an interactive TV, and unlimited refreshments.
More unusual places to meet
Worting House is a Grade II listed manor house located outside of Basingstoke town centre. You don’t need to work there to hire a meeting room. It has four different rooms available ranging from the Austen for two people, perfect for holding one-to-ones up to a period-style board room which holds 10 people.
The Willis Museum and Sainsbury Gallery at The Top of the Town has two spaces that can be used, a smaller 12 person room on the first floor or the larger second floor gallery which could seat up to 60 people in lecture style.
Whitchurch Silk Mill, a heritage working mill nestled in the small historical town of Whitchurch, is the ideal place to hold meetings, team days, award nights and work parties. With access to an activity area indoors that seats up to 50 people and picturesque outdoor spaces by the River Test, the Whitchurch Silk Mill is definitely a memorable place to hold your event. It offers a variety of catering choices and equipment such as PA System, projector and more. There is also lift to access the higher floors of our building. An optional tour of the venue is also available on request.
Silchester Farm has a number of different indoor spaces that can be hired with capacity ranging from 50 to 140 people. They also have landscaped gardens and courtyards that provide ideal al fresco meeting opportunities for something a little more laid back.

Informal places to meet
For a more informal meeting, the Library Bar at The Apollo Hotel offers cosy corners which is a perfect spot to meet colleagues and clients. They have a bar menu with light lunches and snacks served throughout the day. The café area of The Willis Museum is a lovely place for an informal meeting with colleagues.
The Café at Proteus Creation Space opens Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 1pm. Serving a selection of teas, locally roasted coffee from Moonroast and treats from local bakery The Street Bakeshop, it’s a lovely place to visit for a meeting.
The Exchange, at Chineham Park, is a flexible, welcoming working space catering to private phone calls, co-working space and has two bookable private meeting rooms available. There is a cafe on site offering breakfast, lunch, sweet treats and a variety of drink options.
