Basingstoke Bluefins is the premier swimming club in the Basingstoke area and provides a safe swimming environment which encourages kids all the way up from early essential skills, through to national and international competitions.  We believe that each swimmer should be encouraged to develop swimming skills at a level and speed appropriate for them.

Our Skills Academy is aimed at swimmers aged seven to 11 and is the base for swimmers joining the club.  For those that want to progress to competitive swimming, we have a squad structure that allows them to progress at the pace they need, or alternatively continue with swimming for fitness, life skills and social swimming.

In addition, disability swimming is catered for with our specialist ‘Sharks’ squad, giving children and young adults (eight to 18) the opportunity to swim in small groups with specialist teachers and to compete.

We also have a thriving and successful waterpolo section, which currently consists of four squads – Senior Men and Ladies, Juniors and Academy.
