The Parlour Tearoom at Viables

The cake here is delicious! The Parlour Tearoom is an award-winning family-run traditional English tearoom located in a beautiful old milking parlour at Viables Craft Centre. From the quaint and quirky interior to the vintage china cups, they offer their take on traditional afternoon tea with homemade bakes. Gluten free and childrens menus also available. Voted best traditional tearoom in South East England 2024, it is definitely worth a visit. It also offers a takeaway service so you can enjoy afternoon tea in the comfort of your own home without having to make it!

Bob-i-tea-boo

Bob-i-tea-boo offer bespoke afternoon teas all served in a pretty vintage caravan named Dolly. Choose from various themed teas including Beauty and the Beast, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Step Back in Time and The 80s! The caravan is exclusively yours for your booking so you can enjoy a special occasion in a special way. Check out the takeaway service to enjoy afternoon tea at home.

Oakley Hall Hotel

Oakley Hall Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea for a celebration. Choose between the 2 AA Rosette Glasshouse Restaurant or on the garden terrace with stunning views over the back lawn. They serve three-tier afternoon tea seven days a week between 12pm and 5pm and it can be enjoyed with or without an indulgent glass of champagne. Kids can also join by enjoying a children's afternoon tea option.

Afternoon tea at Oakley Hall Hotel

Palm Brasserie

Nestled between Oakley and Overton, The Palm Brasserie offers casual dining, private dining or al fresco dining options.  It’s signature afternoon tea menu offers a unique take on the traditional menu where the usual savoury sandwiches have been replaced by a selection of scones, desserts and savoury bites. They have options that include champagne or cocktails to complement your afternoon tea.

Audleys Wood Hotel

A real treat, settle back for speciality teas, dainty sandwiches, handmade cakes and scones in the Conservatory overlooking the gardens at Audleys Wood Hotel. The afternoon tea menus include traditional, champagne, plant based and non-containing gluten. There is also a special miniature children’s afternoon tea menu available including a selection of sweet delights, jam sandwiches, banana splits and fairy cakes.

White Hart, Overton

The White Hart offer afternoon tea between 12noon and 5pm Monday to Saturday, with a choice of afternoon tea for two for £39.95, cream tea for £11.95 a person or Prosecco cream tea for £49.95. You'll need to book in advance.

The Wellington Arms, Stratfield Turgis

Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea at The Wellington Arms with its cosy interior, comfortable seating, and an inviting ambience that will make you feel right at home. Indulge in a delectable selection of sweet treats, including chocolate eclairs, red velvet, lemon drizzle, and carrot and ginger cakes, along with an assortment of finger sandwiches filled with heritage tomato, avocado and basil, smoked Scottish salmon, and roast British beef with grain mustard. No afternoon tea is complete without freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and preserves.
