Invest in Happiness Summit: A resounding success!

The Invest in Happiness Summit left behind a wave of inspiration and practical insights. We were thrilled to host such an incredible gathering of thought leaders, industry experts, and passionate individuals to delve into the topic of ‘happiness’ and it’s impact on placemaking and property.

The day kicked off with a welcome from Cllr Paul Harvey, leader of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and our host Timo Peach and progressed with an exploration into the role of place making professionals, the power of design and collaborations between housing associations and developers. We heard about fostering workplace environments for individuals to thrive and how we can navigate everyday challenges with resilience. Below you will find highlights from the speakers and links to their presentations.

"What a collection of insights and attitudes you brought together in your guests on stage; I so hope the people you brought together to listen and meet with each other went away a bit filled up. There is real potential to nudge things in collectively great directions around Basingstokeโ€™s sites and plans and they could be beacons to other places.โ€
