The Basing Trail
One of three Basingstoke Heritage trails, the Basing trail is a seven-mile circular walk that will take you approximately three hours to complete. On this walk you’ll take in Basing House, Basingstoke Common, Crabtree Plantation, War Memorial Park and Eastrop Park.
Why we love it:
- Interpretation panels are located at key points along the trail.
- The circular trail takes you back to where you started.
- Short cuts create walks of either 2, 3 or 4.5 miles.
